We are seeking an Inkmaker at our West Chicago, facility to weigh raw materials and to operate mixers and/or mills. This is an apprentice position. The shift hours will be 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. However, the employee should be flexible adopting to business demands. Manufacturing experience is preferred. This job posting was updated 11/20/17.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

• Weigh batches of ink, following directions on the batch ticket

• Mix batches of ink and make additions as directed

• Run batches on a mill

• Package finished product

Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience)

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

• Good math and communication skills

• Basic computer skills
