We are seeking an In-plant Manager to work at our customer's site in Jersey City, NJ.  Previous experience within the Ink industry is preferred. Manufacturing experience is required.

 

 

Essential functions of the job are to:

• Service the customer.

• Direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of INX In-plant Technicians.

• Communicate and train INX In-plant Techs on operational procedures, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicable.

• Provide continued operational support and conduct In-plant quality audits.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing batches of ink under 100 lbs.
  • Colormatching
  • Inventory management
  • Housekeeping and Safety
  • Press-side Technical Support
  • Cost Control
  • Managing Personnel (In-plant Tech)

Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience)

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.; college degree preferred
  • Previous Lab/In-plant experience; minimum of 2 years technical or educational training
  • Ability to work alone and on a team                                                                  
  • Color matching experience                                                              
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills                                        
  • Good computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office                                    
  • Spectrophotometer knowledge                                                          
  • Color theory experience                                                                
  • Prior Offset printing ink knowledge                                                      

 

Additional qualifications requested/helpful:

  • Understanding of 5S
  • Previous experience in an ink lab
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
