We are seeking a 2nd shift In-plant Technician (Offset ink) to act as a liaison between INX and the customer, manufacture ink, and maintain the ink room. This position will work 2nd shift hours from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.  Previous experience within the Ink Industry is preferred.

 

Starting pay is $16/hour; this is negotiable for candidates with relevant industry experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture batches of ink up to 35 pounds at a time
  • Properly QC manufactured inks   
  • Utilize color matching software
  • Follow production schedule each day
  • Rotate and maintain inventory
  • Put away shipments of inks weekly
  • Keep a clean work space every day   
  • Training in printing and color matching                               

 

 

 

 

Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience)

 

Required:

  • Good computer skills      
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Good math skills
  • Good organizational skills

 

 

Requested or helpful:

  • Prior skills in color matching or lithographic and flexographic printing
  • Experience with MS Office programs and color matching software
