We are seeking an In-plant Manager to work at our customer's site in Oshkosh, WI.  Previous experience within the Ink industry is preferred. Manufacturing experience is required.

  

Essential functions of the job are:

• Customer Service.

• Direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of INX In-plant Technicians.

• Oversee daily operations for an Offset sheetfed ink In-plant operation.

• Provide continued operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing batches of ink under 100 lbs.
  • Colormatching
  • Inventory management
  • Housekeeping and Safety
  • Press-side Technical Support
  • Cost Control
  • Managing Personnel (In-plant Tech)

Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience)

  • High school graduate or G.E.D.; some college preferred
  • Color matching experience
  • Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
  • Previous Lab/In-plant experience; minimum of 2 years technical or educational training
  • Familiar with Xrite                                                          
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills                                        
  • Good computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office                                                               
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Good organizational skills

Additional qualifications requested/helpful:

  • Understanding of 5S
  • Previous experience in an ink lab
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
